Verulamians RFC held its annual dads and sons charity match before the New Year.
Over 40 players, ranging from teenage to vintage, came together to raise money for the RFU Injured Players Foundation. The foundation looks after seriously injured players for life and helps prevent future injuries through research and education.
Players and supporters from Verulamians RFC, Old Albanians RFC and St Albans RFC reminded themselves of what local rugby is all about. There were also a number of illustrious father and son combinations on the pitch including: Irwin, Lynch, Pryce-Davis, Ricci and Thomas.
