VERULAM Swimming Club was amazed to see swimmers taking more glory and huge improvements in swim times at last weekend's County Championships.
Georgina Thornton collected a sliver and bronze medal and Heather Kersey collected another bronze, with the club producing eight finalists.
Verulam has 14 swimmers racing in 13 different events resulting in 18 personal best times, which was a huge improvement on previous years.
The club is starting to build a more competitive squad and is enjoying the competition.
Every Verulam swimmer who has participated in the County Championships this year should be proud of their performance and congratulate themselves for their achievements. Over the past three weeks the club has its younger members put in some amazing swims highlighting the club's pool of young talent.
