THE Under 18s East went down 4-3 against Potters Bar but certainly did not go down without a fight. Goalscorers for the 10-man East side were Yasin Boodhoo (two) and Anthony Strzalek.

Richard D'Rosario continued his recent scoring spree to earn the Under 14s East a good 1-1 draw and crush the title hopes of Muswell Hill Athletic. Goalkeeper David Bastin was named Man of the Match after making several superb saves to deny Athletic the win they needed to take top spot.

In the Challenge Cup Final, the Under 13s East went down 3-0 to Hammer Youth. Central midfielder Matt Springall had a fine game and was named Man of the Match for City Youth.

Luke Ferdinand scored twice as the Under 12s North beat Nascot Wood 6-1. Man of the Match Craig McConnell also netted two goals, while Daniel Casotti and Daniel O'Donovan each scored one. The North then lost 2-0 to the Under 12s East with Connor McGowan and Joe Deacey netting to seal the George Walker Memorial Trophy. In their third game the North beat Bedmond 5-3. Luke Ferdinand scored twice and Josh Smithers, Max Andrew and Man of the Match Daniel O'Donovan also netted.

George Hall scored the only goal as the impressive Under 12s East beat County Champions Sun Postal 1-0. Defenders John Little and Sam Stead had fine games while Chris Hoad was named Man of the Match.

Will Harding scored the consolation goal for the Under 12s East as they went down 3-1 to ECSA.

In the George Walker Memorial Shield, the Under 12s South took on Harpenden Colts Falcons. Both sides had plenty of chances and it was the impressive South who came out on top with a 5-2 win. Bill Green raced clear to open the scoring for Harpenden but Andrew Cox fired in a great curling free kick to level the scores. Noah Grisenthwaite then made it 2-1 after surging into the box and rounding Colts goalkeeper Scott Lakatos. The South extended the lead to 3-1 as Scott Wilson took on a defender and lofted his shot home. Bill Green replied for Harpenden with his second of the game but the South went on to settle the contest when Andrew Cox fired in another superb free kick from 25 yards and Niall Watts netted the final goal. James Rainsford and James Shutkever went close for Harpenden and Bill Green almost notched his hat trick.

Robbie Pennthomas scored a hat trick as the Under 9s West beat hosts Chesham 5-0 in the final of the Six-a-Side tournament. Harry Hawks and Harry Deacon also scored for the West. In the semi final they beat Prestwood A 1-0 and sank Prestwood B 2-1 in the quarter final. In the group stages, the West beat Ruislip Manor 3-0, drew 0-0 with Wendover and lost 1-0 to Ickenfield. Robbie Pennthomas scored five goals in the tournament and Alfie Seeby and Harry Lewis each netted twice.
