St Albans Centurions U9 went unbeaten to win its own seven-a-side tournament at Toulmin Drive.

Cents won all their games to beat London Skolars, Harpenden Eagles, Hemel Stags and Harps Roosters to the title.

Coach Adam Skordi said: “All the U9 teams take turns in holding mini festivals, and we have attended quite a few of them. We have only lost one of all the games we have played, which is quite an achievement.

“We had a few boys missing due to holidays, but the team did very well. We have the makings of a very good team here in St Albans. Well done boys.”
