St Albans City FC U16s finished their first season in the Eastern Junior Alliance League as winners.

Having moved to the EJA league this season, the team quickly adapted to the higher standard of football and better pitches, which suited their style of play.

Every game was highly competitive but the young Saints stuck to it and, following some very dramatic late winners, they emerged top of the pile. Only one game was lost all season in the league.

The team have been coached for the last few years by Harry Wheeler, first team coach, which has helped the boys develop as they prepare for adult football.
