The impressive Twomey, aged 19, put City 2-0 up and in command with a double strike. The young winger made an impact in the first team last season and made the bench for several of the recent pre-season friendlies.
Former Stevenage Borough youngster Kerron Birch showed plenty of promise with a two-goal blast after coming on as a substitute to make the final score 4-0 to Saints.
Birch was joined in the reserve squad by Jamie Davidge, Joe Finn and lively substitute Jamie Shaw who were also all in the Stevenage youth set up.
