Harpenden Arrows’ Hannah Turner won the Isle of Wight Challenge, a 106km race around the Island over two days.
Turner finished the race in 11 hours, eight minutes and six seconds as first lady and fifth overall.
Three other Harpenden runners took part, with Karon Shipton (12:24.09) coming second lady and eighth overall and Dawn Burr and KAtie Hill crossing the line together in 16:34.24.
Also taking on a long distance race was Ammon Piepgrass, who completed the Cortina Skyrace, a gruelling 119km over the mountains in Italy. Ammon finished a very respectable 118th in a time of 18 hours and 43 minutes.
