DAVE Tree overcame a swollen ankle to inspire Wheathampstead II to victory over Holtwhites Trinibis.
Tree destroyed the visiting attack with seven wickets and then finished as Wheato's top scorer with the bat with 51.
The result pushes the II up to second place in the Division 8 standings.
l There wasn't such great news for the first XI who lost by 95 runs to St Albans II.
