TOWNSEND bounced back from last weeks disappointments with four wins in a week. On Wednesday, May 7 the A team defeated Welwyn Garden City B 45-11 in the English Bowling Association (EBA) 2 fours and went on to defeat Welwyn 4-1 in the National top club.

On Wednesday, May 7 the A team defeated Welwyn Garden City B 45-11 in the English Bowling Association (EBA) 2 fours and went on to defeat Welwyn 4-1 in the National top club.
At the weekend, Townsend beat Baldock 71-51 in a friendly and also won the prestigious Maurice Watson trophy for the fourth time in five years.
On Sunday, Townsend are in action in the E.B.A 2 fours against Harperbury in the evening.
