Townsend beat Harpenden in the Bowls England Two Fours and the Inter-Club team championship last week.
In the Two Fours, Townsend won by 48 shots to 10. The foursome of Andy Bates, Carl Robinson, Gary West and Danny Macro won by 22-3, the same shot difference as the top rink skipped By Andy Briden and comprising Peter Thomson, Peter Armstrong and Dave Houghton, who won 26-7.
In the Inter-Club team championship, Townsend won on all three rinks and by 56 shots to 31. The top rink, of Andy Bates, David Day, Dave Houghton and Gary West, won 22-9.
Townsend had a narrow five-shot win over Bushey in the Watford and District Griffin Cup. The winning rink comprised Alan Quested, Bob Lawrie, David Day and skip Roger Potter.
