St Albans Striders’ Gary Warren finished in the top 10 at the Welwyn 10k.
Warren crossed the line in seventh, with a time of 38 minutes 35 seconds. He led in team-mates Fleur Harvey-Keenan (48:48) and Tim Searle (52:49).
Adam Mellor and Jack Brooks were among the Striders that ran the Herts Hobble Trail Marathon, which they both finished in five hours 49 minutes.
Steve Smith ran the Clumber Park half marathon in Sherwood Forest in one hour 36 minutes, while Graham Foster was second Vet 50 at the North Downs 30km trail race. He clocked 2:23.46.
Chris Davies ran the Grand Union Challenge from Watford to Tring in 2:05.00 and, closer to home, Adam Dunajko won the St Albans Parkrun on Saturday in 16 minutes 56 seconds, ahead of Shane Seagreen (17.52) in third and Wendy Walsh (19.53), who was second in the women’s race.
