TOM LEWIS of Welwyn Garden City battled through for a hard-earned halved singles match on the final day as the Great Britain and Ireland boys' team won the Jacques Leglise Trophy at Kingsbarns, St Andrews.

They had overturned a 7-5 first- day deficit to the Continent of Europe team as they won nine out of 12 points to finish with a winning margin of 14-10.
