YOUTH FOOTBALL: Tom Marino and Sam Goh scored as the Harpenden Colts U13s Rovers drew 2-2 at Welwyn Pegasus Royals.

Wheathampstead kindly hosted the first meeting between Harpenden Colts and themselves at the U7s age group with Colts winning two of the three games with the other drawn. Special mentions go to Henry O'Connor, Patrick Bissett, Arthur Downs, and Callum Le'ake.

Harvesters U15s South played very well beating Belmont United 2-1 in the Challenge Trophy with goals from Harry Cussell and Man of the Match Tom Li.

Jack Nevin scored a hat-trick as the U14s North twice came from behind to beat Alexandra Park South 5-2. Ryan Hyslop and Aaron Gwyther also scored.

Two goals from Charlie Broom and strikes from Jacob Ponte, Harry Plumb and Sam Gisby gave the U12s North a 5-0 win over Highgate & Muswell Hill.

Tom Cunliffe and James Cleaver were on target as the U12s South lost 4-2 to Ommonia.

The U11s South hit 10 unanswered goals in their game with Cassiobury Rangers Panthers. Lorenzo Federici (three), Sean Clifton (two), Ewan Wattley (two), Dillion Armstrong, Andrew Jennings and Sean Walsh got the goals.

Joe Vance and Steven Tait were on target as the U10s East won 2-1 against Gadeside.

Curtis Finch's goal ensured a share of the spoils for the U10s North in their 1-1 draw with Omonia.

Alexander Banabthy and William Brothwood got the goals in the U9s North's 2-0 win over Croxley Guild.

Ellie Bergin's goal ensured the U14s Girls' tie with Tottenham Ladies went to penalties where Vicky Gray, Bergin and Nicola Dark converted to seal a 3-1 win for Harvesters.

Shania Bedi scored the only goal as the U11s Girls won 1-0.

Maya Yapp and Rebecca McShane got the goals as the U10s Girls won 2-1 against Enfield Rangers.

Kyle Dodman and Yannick Saminaden's goals gave London Colney Colts U15s a 2-1 win.

Matthew Hamblin scored the only goal of the game as the U14s beat Evergreen.

Luke King grabbed a brace and another from Man of the Match Juan Pablo Rodriguez gave the U13s a 3-0 win over Southgate.

Two goals from Ryan Sutherland and one apiece from Roberto Mirza and Joe Wretham helped the U11s to a 4-4 draw with Enfield Rangers.

London Colney Colts U9s let a 2-0 lead slip as they lost 3-2 to Hadley Wood Foxes. Jaidan Abraham and Jervon Campbell scored Colts' goals.

Frankie Parke's goal gave Park Street Village U16s all three points against Sun Postal Blue.

Goals from Callum Noonan and Sebastian Hesketh helped the U9s come from behind to beat Chorleywood Gunners 3-2.

Goalkeeper Rob Tierney was St Albans Rangers One Eights hero saving three penalties as they progressed to the semi-finals of the League Cup. Goals from Josh Towle and Elliott Goward (two) took the game to penalties with Rangers prevailing.

Four goals from Sam Carrington-Kennedy helped the U18s Whites to a 6-2 win at Alexandra Park North. Matt Lawrence and Matt Kerr also scored.

Connor McGrath hit five goals as the U14s won 10-0 against Potters Bar. James Plummer (two), Shane Bagge, Daniel Lenihan and Omar Ech-Chadli completed the rout.

Man of the Match Callum Moriarty scored the U13s Reds' only goal as they lost 5-1 to Everett Rovers Blue.

The U9s Reds defeated Hadley Rangers East 7-0 thanks to goals from Noah Costin (four), Jack Hawthorne, Tejas Mauree and Louis Goosey.

The U7s played a series of matches against local rivals Harpenden Colts at the weekend. Only some inspired goalkeeping from the Harpenden goalkeeper kept the Wheathampstead forwards at bay. Goals from James Hawken and Ben Sanders were the highlights from the second match.

Cub Scout Football: The opening weekend of the Salwey Cup saw a seven man 4th St Albans play hosts to 18th Douthwaite.

Goals from Harvey Trounson and Alfie Seeby ensured the contest finished 1-1. Trounson and Adam Skinner took the Man of the Match awards.

In the other cup game, a strong 2nd St Albans team beat Sandridge 9 -1. Man of the Match for the 2nd was shared between goalscorers Morgan Trotman (three) and Jamie Brown (three).

Other scorers were Alfie Booth (two) and Billy Lawrence. Sandridge's scorer was George Pettengell and Man of the Match was Joseph Caswell.
