St Albans City secured their first win of the Vanarama National League South season with a 1-0 triumph at Margate on Saturday.
Both sides went into the game in the bottom half of the table and looking to claim a first league victory at the eighth attempt.
It was Saints striker Louie Theophanous who grabbed the all important goal on 52 minutes to hand City all three points.
St Albans head to Truro City on Saturday in their next league encounter.
