Two horse riders from Hanstead Livery and Riding School in Bricket Wood have been accepted into the prestigious Pony Racing Academy at the British Racing School.
Finn Hemmings, 14, and Sienna Manners, 13, were chosen from hundreds of applicants to join the academy, which gives children who don’t have their own pony and wouldn’t normally get the opportunity to try pony racing.
Head instructor at Hansted Livery and Riding School, Natalie Aldridge, said: “We are so proud of them. This makes us feel very special too because we are doing the right things in producing good, well rounded horsemen and women of the future.”
