Tabard picked their first win of the season with a convincing 31-19 success at Enfield Ignatians.
The victory, which came complete with a bonus point for scoring five tries, lifts the Radlett-based club up to eighth in the London Two North West table.
Tom King led the way with two, while Gerald Arasa, Rhys Lewis and Aaron Priscott also touched down.
Jack Reilly kicked two conversions with Harry Gough also knocking one over.
The win will be pleasing to the club’s hierarchy, after the loss of a number of last year’s squad through retirement and injury, and was built thanks to a show of strength by the forwards.
Their work gave the Tabard backs plenty of space to open Enfield’s defence, a fact illustrated when Arasa got the opening score on 10 minutes.
Even when the hosts went over for their first score midway through the first half, you sensed it wouldn’t be long for Tabard to reassert their dominance.

So it proved as first Lewis then King, from fully 40 metres, crossed the whitewash to put Tabard 19-5 up at half-time.
Five minutes after the break the forwards got their reward for some sterling work at the set-pieces.
After three reset scrums, Priscott was able to pick up at No 8 and crash over in the corner.
King got his second on 50 minutes but it was to prove Tabard’s last score of the afternoon with Enfield grabbing two tries to bring some respectability to the score.
