Bull and Jacks shocked Premier side AFC Rangers in the Challenge Cup, winning 8-7 on penalties after the sides had fought out a 3-3 draw.

Division One Jacks’ goals came from James Owen (two) and Scott Ferguson while Chris McCarthy, Jamie Gregory and Ed King scored for Rangers.

Cain Davey scored four as Nicholas Breakspear OB beat Brookmans Park 5-1. Dave Parkinson scored the other goal for Breakspear and Dan Millard was on target for Park.

HERTS INTERMEDIATE CUP: A Jamie France goal was all Pennine Spartans could muster in a 2-1 loss to Broadhall Athletic.

INTERMEDIATE CUP: Garston put in an excellent second half, scoring twice, to beat Herts Mauritian 4-1. The goals were scored by Dexter Simpson (two), Charlie Medlin and James Manfre.

Two first half goals from Oli Franks and Dean Skipsey was enough for Blacksmiths Arms to overcome St Albans Royals.

Six Bells tasted defeat for the first time this season when going down 3-1 against FC Potters Bar, who had Dale Etherington (two) and James Lindie on target.

JUNIOR CUP: Rory Suttie scored a hat-trick in Greenwood Park’s 11-1 win over Stonewood Reserves. Tony Pitt, Joe Smyth and Matt Thorn scored two each and Matt Hedges added a single to go along with an own goal.

A single goal from Jason Nicolau was enough for St Albans IFC to beat White Horse.

Church End put in a good performance to beat Old Albanians 6-4. Carl Edwards was in fine form, scoring a hat-trick, while Phil Jackman added a brace and Harry Blackman a single. OAs’ goals came from Ben Edwards, Adam Phillips (two) and Jack Samuels.

In a seven-goal thriller, Wheathampstead Crown went down 4-3 against Radlett Village. Crown’s goals came from Ben Conrad, Scott Rolls and Michael Ross.

NBOB 90 had a comfortable 5-0 win against Bricket Wood with goals from Tom Gajjar (two), Tom Hill (two) and Daryl Hall.

Bradmore Rovers’ fine form continued with an 8-0 win over Harpenden Colts OB Reserves. Joe Brunt scored four, Paul Ricketts added a hat-trick and Daryl Smith netted one.

Lee Bennett (two), Jake Edwards and Alan Russell scored for Wheathampstead ‘89 in a 4-0 win against St Albans Rangers.

An Ashley Fongho goal wasn’t enough to save AFC Mymms from going down 3-1 against CHL.

PREMIER DIVISION: Harry Hunt scored twice as Skew Bridge beat Vision 3-1. Ben Warren opened the scoring before being pegged back by Ethan Hughes but Hunt wrapped up the points.

PSV ran out 4-0 winners against Phoenix thanks to goals from Chris Jell, Ryan Houghton and two from Craig Taylor.

DIVISION ONE: Greg Shaw scored twice and Mark Paradise and Daniel Westmore added singles as London Road won 4-2 against Nicholas Breakspear OB Reserves, who had Alex Songalia and Tegana James on target.

DIVISION TWO: Brookmans Park Reserves beat Phoenix Reserves by the odd goal in seven. Joe Cullum (two), Danny Clarke and Mitch Dennis put Park 4-0 up before Phoenix came back through Sam Bozier, Bobbie Gurrey and an own goal.

Following last week’s 16-goal thrashing, Vision Reserves won 6-3 against Cannon. Junior Almelda led the way with a hat-trick followed by singles from Humair Khan, Rowan Patel and Tyrone Phipps. Cannon replied through John Armitt (two) and Ben Starnes.

DIVISION THREE: Harpenden Colts OB ended Stonewood’s unbeaten recorded with a 4-1 success. The goals came from Maurizio Cimo, Cheng He, Chris Newcombe and Paulo Pennacchi.

DIVISION FOUR: Marshalswick Rovers held on to a 2-1 victory against AFC Welwyn. Dave Hudson scored both goals.

Cannon Reserves won 7-0 against Athletico Quat. Ian McCarthy scored four, Ian Hutchinson netted two and Ashley Defries completed the scoring.

Ridge beat George Redbourn 3-0 thanks to goals from David Bailey (two) and James Hill.
