St Albans City Youth celebrated yet another fantastic season with their annual presentation day recently.
The 47th running of the event took place at the Alban Arena and the size and stature of the club was very much evident as it took three packed sessions to fit in over 70 teams.
Among the guests of honour were the mayor and deputy mayor of St Albans, Councillors Rosemary Farmer and Brian Gibbard.
Also in attendance were the club’s patron Annie Brewster and Nick Perchard, a former player and now head of community for the FA, England C manager Paul Fairclough, club chairman Mervyn Morgan and trustees Ian Woods, Laurence Levy, Sarah Kropman, Geoff Watts and Lesley Wray.
The presentation party was made up with Lord Tom McNally and club press secretary Terry Edwards.
