GOALS from Winston Taylor and Mark Savory fired St Peter’s to their 10th league win of the season.
The Saints made hard work of seeing off their struggling visitors anf after seeing off several scares in their own penalty area went ahead through Taylor. Savory was the architect laying the ball off for his teammate to fire home his first goal of the season.
St Peter’s doubled their lead before the break when Savory reacted quickest to net his 10th of the campaign after Phil Jackman’s close range shot came off the upright.
After the break the home side were guilty of squandering a number of chances and they were lucky not to concede when the visitors passed up the opportunity from the penalty spot.
This wasn;t the best of performances from St Peter’s but nonetheless a welcome three points. This Saturday, St Peter’s welcome Old Parmiterians (KO 2.30pm).
