St Albans Striders had a slow weekend as many of its runners prepare for this Sunday’s London Marathon.
Many of the club’s members stayed close to home, running the St Albans parkrun, where Paul Adams was the first Strider to cross the line.
Jack Brooks completed the Huddersfield Marathon in 4:26.43 while Narin McWilliams came 23rd at the Greater Manchester Marathon in 2:35.46.
Joanne Tang completed the Flitwick 10k in 1:02:28 where Wendy Walsh was the third lady in 40:20. The other finishers were Rav Dighe in 43:52, Johanna Sharples in 42:16 (PB) and Caroline and Dave Skyrme in 1:00.00. Deidre Heydecker was first FV55.
Clare Stephen ran the Hyde Park 10k in a new PB time of 48:37.
