The St Albans Striders won first place in both the men’s and the women’s races at the 5K Parkrun on Saturday.
Adam Dunajko finished in 17:21 followed closely by Simon Fraser in 17:39. Wendy Walsh was the first woman to cross the line in 19:17 and the third was fellow Strider Jenny Maddocks at 20:33. Several Striders achieved new PBs including Mike Martin (18:40) and Gladstone Thompson (21:59).
Jack Brooks was representing the Striders in the Pisa marathon where he finished in 3:41:31.
