St Albans City play host to the U18 District Cup Final this Wednesday – and the competing teams are looking for as many people as possible to turn up.

St Columba’s College will take on Roundwood Park in a 7pm kick-off at Clarence Park.

And both schools are hoping that as many students, friends, old boys and family members, as well as the football-loving public of St Albans and Harpenden, turn up as possible.

A spokesman for St Columba’s said: “The more people that know about it, the more people may turn up to create a fantastic atmosphere for the boys involved.”

Doors open at 6.15pm with admission priced at £4 for adults and £2 for students and children.
