ST ALBANS Ladies shared a 1-1 draw away at Northampton Saints on Sunday.
St Albans enjoyed good pressure early on but goalkeeper Anthea Oatridge and defender Kate Pears had to be alert to deny Saints a clear goalscoring opportunity.
The Ladies fell behind early in the second half when the Saints converted a penalty corner.
St Albans were only behind for a matter of minutes though as Donna Pringle converted a penalty corner to draw her side level.
The Ladies piled on the pressure as the game neared its conclusion with Lottie Simpson, Pringle and Katie Hockley going close to giving St Albans the win but they couldn't find a way past the Saints goalkeeper who saved her side on numerous occasions.
