The kids are alright down at St Albans Hockey Club with some superb showings at the County Championships.

Leading the way were the two U12 girls’ teams.

Both the A and B side progressed to the semi-final where they met each other.

The A side got the victory but went on to lose 1-0 on penalties in the final having hit the post three times.

However, they will still go to the regional finals with high hopes.

Other St Albans teams also did very well, including the U14 girls’ who won their tournament, with the 2nd team coming third.

The U10 girls were also third while the U12A boys came in as runners-up.
