NEW St Albans City striker Lewis Toomey helped himself to a pre-season hat-trick as The Saints defeated Enfield FC 3-2 at Goldsdown Road on Saturday.

The victory was City’s first of pre-season after defeats to the Belarus Olympic Games side, Barnet and Luton Town.

Another of the club’s new recruits, Richard Graham, claimed two assists against Enfield and is already showing his quality of delivery from set-pieces. He has now set up four goals in four pre-season games.

St Albans continue their Evo-Stik League preparations on Wednesday (August 1) as they host a Watford XI at Clarence Park, kick-off 7.45pm.
