Nick Jupp kept a clean sheet in a trial match for Barnet FC.

FORMER Saint Nick Jupp had a trial for Barnet FC against Hitchin Town this week.

The 24-year-old left City before the beginning of pre-season, telling the club he wanted to find full-time employment with a bigger outfit.

Jupp started for the Bees against the Canaries last night (August 30) and kept a clean sheet in a 3-0 win for Edgar Davids’ side.

Barnet FC has not confirmed whether Jupp will get a deal, but his chances were improved earlier this week with the news that Sam Cowler, formerly of West Ham, has left the Skrill Conference side.
