City handed home ties in both the FA Cup and FA Trophy

ST ALBANS City have been handed home ties in the First Qualifying Round of both the FA Cup and FA Trophy.

The Saints while have to wait until the results from both the Extra Preliminary and Preliminary rounds are in with David Howell’s side set to take on either Haringery Borough or AFC Kempston Rovers, Crawley Green or Berkhamsted.

The fixture will take place at Clarence Park on Saturday, September 17.

In the FA Trophy the Saints will face either Ashford Town (Middx) or Maidstone United at Clarence Park on Saturday, October 22.

The young Saints will begin their FA Youth Cup adventure away from home, taking on either Grays Athletic or Thurrock in the week commencing September 19.
