Saints drawn away in tonight’s draw

St Albans City will face Grimsby Town in the FA Cup first round.

The Saints were drawn away to the National League side in this evening’s draw, with the match set to take place on the weekend of November 7.

City booked their place in the first round with a 2-1 win over Weston-super-Mare on Saturday thanks to goals from Graeme Montgomery and Lee Chappell.

They were knocked out of last year’s competition at the fourth qualifying stage, losing to Concord Rangers.
