THREE players have put pen to paper for St Albans City as the season approaches.

Danny Green, Aryan Tajbakhsh and Aston Goss are the latest to sign Calor Southern League forms and join the City squad for the 2013/14 season.

Green is a utility player who was captain of Harpenden Town, featuring in central midfield for the last couple of seasons. Goss, who was with Arlesey Town last season, has plenty of pace and the ability to turn a game.

Tajbakhsh came to attention when he played for Potters Bar Town in the Herts Charity Cup semi-final against the Saints last season. He has great natural fitness and exerts a competitive presence in midfield. He was previously on the books at Maidenhead United.

The squad is expected to be finalised in the next few days.
