St Albans City’s long trip to Truro City in the Vanarama National League South ended in a disappointing 2-0 defeat on Saturday.
Exeter City loanee Connor Riley-Lowe gave Truro City a 12th minute lead at Treyew Road against Jimmy Gray and Graham Gold’s Saints.
Just 14 minutes later St Albans conceded a second as Aaron Dawson doubled the White Tigers` lead.
The visitors were unable to find a way back into the match as they fell to a sixth defeat from nine league games.
St Albans have the chance to put the loss behind them quickly as they host Basingstoke Town at Clarence Park on Monday night.
