ST ALBANS City Ladies put in another fine performance to overcome AFC Kempston 3-2.
Although the sun was shining for a change the conditions were heavy going. Megan Kiff continued her scoring run, this time from the penalty spot, with Molly Slade getting City ladies going with a glorious free kick from 30 yards.
The returning Holly Sheridan also got in on the action, working hard to get a well-deserved goal to make it 3-0 at half-time.
The second half saw the defence and mid-field work hard to keep the ball and showed some skilful passes. Kempston managed to get back in the game with a goal in the 75 min and then 10 seconds from the final whistle managed to net their second.
