The cross country season continued this week at the Southern Cross Country Championships in Stanmer Park, Brighton.
The senior men’s team came 30th out of 55 in the 15K race with a team made up of Graham Smith (174th), Adam Dunajko, Joe Dunn, John Ockenden, Mike Martin and Nairn McWilliams.
The senior women’s team made up of Deborah Steer (73rd), Elaine Garvican, Liz Walls and Deirdre Heydecker alsoplaced 23rd of 41 teams competing in the 8K race.
Graham Smith also won the hilly Vale Gallop 10K race in a time of 37:53 and Becky Alexander completed the Hyde Park 10K race in 57:30.
