Having been put into bat, openers Ben Roe (15) and Dave Irwin (10) put up 26 runs before falling in quick succession to Derrick Sanders (4-60).

Roe joined George Naismith (30) in the middle for a 55-run third-wicket stand, which was ended when Kieran Jones took the first of his two wickets to remove Naismith.

The captain anchored the rest of the innings, scoring seven fours and a six, before he was clean bowled by Sanders for the eighth wicket.

Dean Flynn added an unbeaten 18 at the bottom of the order as Redbourn closed on 207.

Stuart Halley (31) and Jones (10) started Enfield’s reply with an opening stand of 31 before the latter was trapped LBW by Dan Darvell (2-26) and Chirag Ratilal followed him back to the pavilion without scoring.

Halley and Owen White (20) rebuilt the innings with a partnership of 30 but a flurry of wickets quickly put Enfield back in the hole.

Dean Flynn (2-29) took the next two wickets to put reduce Enfield to 113-7 before Adam Pritchard (2-51), Darvell and Jon Flemming (2-35) completed two-wicket hauls to wrap up the victory.
