Shenley to get Village Cup campaign underway on home turf

Shenley Cricket Club has been handed a home tie against Steppingley in the first round of the 2015 Davidstow Village Cup.

The Bedfordshire side will come to Shenley Park on May 3.

The Village Cup is national competition that is split into 32 regions - Shenley are in the Herts and Beds group. The winners of each region battle it out for a chance to play on the hallowed turf at Lord’s in the final, scheduled for Sunday, September 13.

Shenley Village v Steppingley; Datchworth v Weston; Botany bay v Old Owens; Reed v Bye; Long Marston v Langleybury; St Margaretsbury v Preston; Elstow v Bye; Bourne End v Bye.
