Stevenage 143-10 drew with Shenley Villlage 68-4 - match abandoned due to rain
Shenley Village were beaten by the weather, as their away game at Stevenage was eventually abandoned as a draw.
Having bowled out the home side for 143 with spinner Rifkhan Hameed ending with impressive figures of 4-23 off eight overs, Shenley were seemingly well set in reply, standing at 68-4 when heavy rain caused the game to be abandoned after 28 overs.
They slipped one place in the Division Three table but only 13 points separate them from leaders Letchworth II, who they will face on Saturday at the Shenley Cricket Centre in what promises to be an exciting match.
