Sandridge 2nds continue to jointly head the SHL Division Nine table following a five-wicket victory over Rickmansworth 3rds.
Skipper Dave Muskett won the toss and on a very damp and soft wicket asked Rickmansworth to bat.
After a steady start, in-form Graham Perrin ripped through the heart of the batting, taking 7-50. He was ably supported by off-spinner David Gower (3-34).
The opposition was dismissed for 111, which would have been considerably lower but for some dropped catches.
In reply, despite losing Matt Scott early on, Sandridge battled in the face of some accurate bowling. Jack Shephard’s unbeaten 32 led the way, closely followed by Dave Camm’s 29, as Sandridge wrapped up a comfortable win.
