School's top marks

ST ALBANS School enjoyed success at the Hertfordshire Cross Country Championships, held in Cassiobury Park, Watford. The Under 20 Men s team took first place with Billy Collins taking individual third with a time of 28.03 and the Under 17 Men s team also

ST ALBANS School enjoyed success at the Hertfordshire Cross Country Championships, held in Cassiobury Park, Watford.

The Under 20 Men's team took first place with Billy Collins taking individual third with a time of 28.03 and the Under 17 Men's team also took first place, with runners finishing in second, eighth and ninth.

The Under 15 Boy's team finished third while Mark Pearce ran a time of 10.51 to take second place in the Under 13 Boy's race.

Hannah Johnson finished third in a time of 23.58 in the Under 17 Women's race while Becky Gardiner won the Under 20 Women's race with a time of 21.54.

The Senior Men's side won their team event with Orlando Edwards (37.04) finishing fourth, closely followed by team-mates Jack Parslow (fifth, 37.40) and Dominic Easter (sixth, 39.28).
