HARPENDEN face Brentwood this Saturday (KO 3pm) to determine whether they stay in London One North or not.
Harps are left with that huge challenge following a 41-29 defeat to Eton Manor last weekend in front of a large crowd.
A below-par first half performance saw them 26-0 down at the interval but a second half rally saw them peg the scores back to 31-29 and they missed a penalty that would have given them a shock lead.
Eton Manor added a penalty of their own to add some breathing space and with Harpenden pushing to get back into the game their opponents caught them under the own posts to score a try.
Harpenden's tries came from Marchon who helped himself to two, Gabriel and Read with Haddock chipping in with some good kicks.
