Following their recent bad run, Sandridge recorded a well deserved victory against high fliers Welwyn Garden City 3rds.
WGC won the toss and elected to bat, but lost their skipper LBW in the opening over from David Camm. From then on Sandridge kept a tight grip on proceedings thanks to some excellent bowling and ground fielding.
Camm bowled a sensational spell of 4-68 from 27 overs, backed up by Amit Parab (1-28) and Andy Loe (1-37). WGC finally ending up with 148-7.
Sandridge needed to make a good start against the formidable WGC opening attack, and Matt Scott returned to form with a fluent 41, backed by valuable contributions from Colin Winton and Sam Shephard.
However it was Amit Parab who put the icing on the cake with a unbeaten 46 that saw Sandridge comfortably home with five overs to spare.
