SANDRIDGE completed the league season with a disappointing defeat at Northwood. The 12 points collected meant that they miss out on a promotion place by a mere three points.
Lennie Peters (3-62) and Rick Panting (2-34) helped restrict Northwood to 204 – a manageable total on a flat surface.
At 50-1 the ‘Ridgers looked well placed but a mini collapse put them under pressure. Adam Temple (41), a classy 50 from Peters and 24 from Dave Muskett were the only scores of note.
