ST PETER'S 10 match unbeaten run came to an end at Suburban League side Leverstock Green Reserves.
Manager Dave Whitehead's squad has been stretched in recent weeks and on Saturday he was missing influential players Richard Ellis, Danny Blyth and Gary Stuart-Neal.
The home side made a lively start and kept the Saints' defence busy.
Despite this it was the Saints who created the best two opportunities through James Lee and Nathan Sandiford.

The home side finally took advantage of a mistake in the Saints' backline to go 1-0 up and when another error was punished for a second goal the tie was starting to drift from St Peter's.
On the half hour the match was as good as won by Green with a third goal.
Manager Whitehead asked for more enthusiasm from his players after the break and the players responded with Sam Lyon heading home Sandiford's cross.
The fight back didn't last long as Green punished poor defending with goal number four and a well taken free kick gave the home side goal number five.
Sam Mardle added a consolation goal from the penalty spot to open his account for the season and only the upright stopped Sandiford's well struck shot from further reducing the deficit but on the day the Saints were beaten by the better side.
Injuries are hampering the Saints' attempts to put out a strong side for this weekend's home clash with AFC Hatfield Town (KO 2pm).
