St Albans City have snapped up former St Neots Town dynamo Lewis Hilliard.
The 24-year-old came through the ranks at Rushden and Diamonds before moving to Rowley Park in 2010.
At the end of the 2013/14 season, he scooped the supporters’ player, players’ player and manager’s player of the year awards as well as the title of top scorer.
St Neots Town chairman Mike Kearns said: “We tried our hardest to keep Lewis based on what we could afford. Unfortunately our offer was rejected. I would like to wish Lewis the very best for the future.”
At City he will join up with former Town team-mate Simon Thomas.
