St Albans City could be losing Cameron Lancaster just two months after signing him.
Joint manager James Gray revealed on Tuesday that the former Tottenham Hotspur and Stevenage striker could be heading to America on a football scholarship.
His departure will leave the Saints with John Frendo and Elliot Bailey as their only strikers.
Gray could look to former Whitehawk frontman Michael Malcolm, who scored in St Albans’ Herts Senior Cup win over Hadley, as Lancaster’s replacement.
