A hard-fought 28-27 victory for OA Saints over Tonbridge Juddians on Saturday saw them bring the season to a close.
Both teams were sat in the top three of the league, with a cracking match in prospect, neither team disappointed as a fast paced game kicked off.
Two Olivia Almond tries in the first half, plus one from Caz Collie, who also kicked three conversions, handed Saints a 21-12 half-time advantage.
The second half saw the visitors pull two scores back, but their kicker missed both attempts as they took a 22-21 lead.
Saints responded as Hannah Johnston picked up and crossed the line for a converted try which saw them regain the lead, 28-22.
Tonbridge fought back late on and scored a try, however the kick was again missed to make it 28-27.
The last few minutes were nail-biting with Saints holding out for a fine team win on the final day against a good Tonbridge side.
