ST Peter's FC concluded their pre-season activities on Saturday with a fine 4-3 win against Sandridge Rovers Reserves at Francis Bacon School.
Goals from Richard Ellis, James Hill and Ben Ryan and Billy Smith secured the victory for Saints. Due to the absence of 12 registered players, the Saints drafted in several guest performers who all played their part.
Previously, St Peter's entertained Park Street Village and were beaten 3-2. Richard Ellis and Stuart Henderson were on the mark for St Peter's.
On Saturday, the Saints make the trip to Chipperfield Corinthians for their opening Herts Senior County League Division One fixture with a 3pm kick off. They then travel to Kimpton Rovers on Wednesday, August 20 with a 6.45pm kick off. Manager Mitch Morris will be missing several key players for both games due to unavailability.
