TALENTED footballers are wanted for St Albans City FC’s successful U18 Midweek Youth team, which won both the Allied Counties Youth Football League East Division and Challenge Cup in 2011/12.

The side will play home matches in the 2012/13 season under floodlight’s at St Albans City FC’s prestigious ground at Clarence Park, St Albans in the Allied Counties Youth Football League Premier Division and FA Youth Cup.

Players should be at least 16 or 17 years old on 1 September (current school Years 11 or 12) and play to a good standard - typically County FA level or have recently been with a Football League Club Academy/Development Centre.

Opportunities exist for the youth players to progress to the senior sides.

Last season 14 of the youth squad regularly played for St Albans City FC’s Reserve team whilst three players also represented the first team in the Evo-stik Southern League Premier Division.
