ST Peter's exited the Aubrey Cup as they put in a below-par performance to go down to Bushey Rangers away on Saturday.
The Saints were missing 12 players and after both sides missed chances, Bushey eventually found the net late in the first half following a defensive mistake.
Play became scrappy after the break as both sides were guilty of poor ball control and passing. Fine goalkeeping from Saint Chris Caruana kept Bushey down to one.
Saints visited Kimpton Rovers in the Herts Senior County League Division One on Wednesday, August 20.
Saints went down 3-2 with Darren Shea and John Thompson on target.
Manager Mitch Morris and his committee are looking for new players to bolster the squad.
