Herts Intermediate Cup First Round
Lemsford Reserves 1 St Peter's 4
ST Peter's recorded their first win in more than a month as they won 4-1 at Lemsford Reserves on Saturday.
Lemsford took the lead when they capitalised on a lack of confidence and belief that hindered the Saints in the early stages.
The visitors hit back to level just after the half hour mark when Craig Staughton crashed a fierce dipping shot into the top corner beating former Saint Johnny Shearer in goal for Lemsford.
The Saints took the lead after the interval when a stunning effort from Marlon Jones from 30 yards again gave Shearer no chance.
