Steed finished second in the British Championship at the club, losing out by 36 points to Ben Kasperczak after accidents derailed his title charge. However, his five pole positions, 11 wins and seven fastest laps caught the eye of his fellow competitors at Rye House, who voted him as the year’s top driver.

Steed collected the awards with his mechanics and race tutors, Ben and Adam U’Ren of BAB Motorsport.

He is already looking ahead to next year. Steed has already lined up three championships that he wants to race in, which will make up 42 weeks of the year.
