Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall was delighted to see some of the club’s lesser lights shine on the biggest stage of them all.
The Men in Black were already trailing to a Johnny Sexton penalty when Maro Itoje was given a yellow card and in the same moment they lost Mako Vunipola and Titi Lamositele to injury.
But even though they shipped a converted try shortly after, the performances of replacement props Richard Barrington and Vincent Koch helped not only turn the tide, but bring Saracens the win.

McCall said: "It's so pleasing that some of the players who are a bit unheralded, like Richard Barrington, got almost 60 minutes and was superb.
"He is a really important player for our club, not just on the field but off it as well. But when you're behind someone like Mako you tend not to play that many minutes in these kind of games.
"So for him to play like he did was fantastic.
"Vincent Koch produced his best game of the season but we all know he's capable of that."
